The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Director, to execute various lead generation and branding campaigns for various practices and products within Smartbridge. The candidate will also have direct ownership of key areas of marketing and have responsibility for driving program and pipeline success. We’re a small company, so we can’t stress enough the desire to act upon ‘owning’ tasks and responsibilities. Here are just some of those responsibilities you would own out of the gate:

  • Content marketing – Create, write, edit and publish various content marketing efforts. While blogging and writing will be a mainstay, creating videos of various forms will be a primary goal. Apply your writing, A/V and marketing skills across four practice areas, including products and services. In one day you may work with management to create case studies, as well as administration to create recruitment content. Finally, support content marketing via SEO, PPC, email campaigns, social media, websites, etc. Measure efforts via monitoring, optimizing and reporting on key performance metrics.
  • Marketing automation – Thoughtfully prepare marketing campaigns that focus on optimizing our content, automates lead generation for sales and provides the best user experience available for our audience. Apply existing processes for publishing content across our website, social, and CRM and email platform – and find ways to improve it further. Should have a constant desire to stay on top of emerging technology and utilities that empower us to do our job smarter.
  • Event marketing – Support for face-to-face events in varying degrees. May include prepping of exhibit materials, post-event funnel management, and representing Smartbridge as booth personnel at local events.
  • Collateral management – Manage our inventory of collateral, giveaways and other branded materials. Though not as frequent, conceptualize and design collateral to support various programs.
  • Other marketing duties - Assist with internal communications, such as staff emails and headshots for new hires. Own and ensure proper execution of the corporate brand. Support sales with other duties that may fall within lead generation.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing or communications
  • Experience in a technology or B2B firm preferred
  • Strong writing skills
  • Aptitude for storytelling and helping others find their story
  • Video production experience (to include screencasts and/or live action videos/interviews)
  • Experience with Wordpress CMS platform
  • Beginner or intermediate HTML and CSS coding skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator and InDesign a plus)
  • Experience designing and building HTML email campaigns, with any email service provider
  • Familiar with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere or Camtasia
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, tasks and projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with Dynamics CRM or another CRM system a plus
