This position lies at the intersection of quality assurance and business analysis, supporting the delivery of reliable, high-impact software solutions. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring product quality while collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into testable, functional outcomes. 

 Position Summary 

We are seeking a mid-level QA/BA Analyst with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and clients to ensure that business requirements are well understood, implemented effectively, and meet the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. 

• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate application functionality. 

• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to analyze and understand requirements. 

• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios. 

• Identify, log, and track defects and work with teams to ensure timely resolution. 

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to project planning and retrospectives. 

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices. 

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and aligned expectations. 

Technical Skills 

• Experience with manual testing methodologies. 

• Familiarity with automation tools. 

• Scripting ability in Python or JavaScript. 

• Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools. 

• Basic understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries for validation. 

Soft Skills 

• Strong team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication, including translating technical language for business users. 

• Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and suggest effective solutions. 

• Organized and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. 

• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and initiative. 

Education & Qualifications 

• Minimum of 4 years of combined experience in quality assurance and business analysis roles, preferably in a consulting or client-facing environment. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. 

• ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus. 

• Prior experience in a consulting environment or client-facing role is a bonus. 

Additional Details 

• This is a remote offshore role, requiring daily overlap with U.S. business hours (until at least Noon CST). 

• Candidates must be available for team meetings, standups, and real-time collaboration. 

• A 3-month probationary period applies, during which performance and reliability will be assessed. Certifications may be required.
