Salary Range: $140,000 to $170,000 annual salary (see note below)

Our Automation and Modernization service line focuses on application development, Salesforce, robotic process automation (RPA), and integrations. We deliver innovative solutions to modernize operations and enhance efficiency for clients across industries, including life sciences, oil and gas, and restaurants.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead within the Automation and Modernization service line. This role involves managing complex client engagements, leading cross-functional teams, driving business development, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate has expertise in application development, Microsoft stack including Power Platform, and RPA, along with a strong project management background. The Senior Manager will collaborate with leadership to set strategic goals and ensure the improvement of our service offerings and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead efforts in Application development, Microsoft Power Platform, and RPA within the Automation and Modernization service line.
  • Manage, Mentor, and guide a team of consultants ensuring performance, skill development, and career growth.
  • Promote Smartbridge’s brand at conferences, seminars, and local user groups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology partners.
  • Share knowledge through blogs, white papers, webinars, and other channels.
Project Management
  • Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Act as the primary project manager for key client engagements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth execution.
Client Engagement
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Understand client needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Present updates and deliverables to stakeholders.
Team Management
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers and consultants.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity.
  • Provide feedback and support to team members.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with the sales team.
  • Look for opportunities to cross-sell and upsell all Smartbridge services
  • Scope and propose deals for app development, Salesforce, and RPA projects.
  • Align projects with client goals and Smartbridge’s strategic objectives.
Management & Leadership
  • Take initiative and exhibit strong leadership skills.
  • Ensure deliverables are consistent, complete, and on time.
  • Foster collaboration across teams and maintain a positive environment.
Other
  • Travel to client locations as required.
Requirements
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, CS, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
    • 10+ years of experience in app development, Microsoft, Salesforce, or RPA.
    • Must have 5+ years of project management experience in a consulting environment.
    • Well versed in Azure Project Management tools such as Boards
    • 5+ years of leading technical teams and managing resources
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong project management expertise.
    • Excellent consulting skills: critical thinking, analysis, and communication.
    • PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Microsoft, Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Attributes:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive problem solver with exceptional communication abilities.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
