JOB TITLE: JD Edwards Computer Systems Analyst

JOB DUTIES: Smartbridge, LLC in Houston, Texas seeks a JD Edwards Computer Systems Analyst to provide JD Edwards development services which includes planning, execution, testing and training in all phases of new implementations and upgrade projects. Design, manage, and deliver Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One ERP technology solutions to address Company’s business needs. Analyze problems to develop solutions involving computer hardware and software using Oracle JD Edwards, ERP application that exceed industry expectations in usability, accuracy, reliability and performance.

Provide services in application design and development, web services, JDE E1 reports & applications, RDA development, BI Publisher Enterprise and JDE Business Services (BSSV). Analyze business and other data processing needs, user requirements, procedures, and problems to develop technical designs and develop technology solutions. Gather business requirements, understand, analyze and document business processes.

Recommend systems solutions and implement programming tasks based on Oracle JD Edwards ERP software technologies. Review, analyze, create AS-IS and To-Be processes, define use cases, develop functional and technical solutions. Research innovative and cutting-edge technologies that would increase productivity and assist in the identification and implementation of best practices processes and procedures for installation, configuration and utilization to make Oracle JD Edwards more effective.

Provide management with systems assessments and recommendations and coordinate the installation, configuration and integration of new technologies into existing computer programs and systems.

MINIMUM

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or its foreign equivalent. Employer will accept an academic equivalency evaluation found to be the equivalent of a US Bachelor’s Degree by an accredited educational evaluation company.
